Mercedes 560sl blie carpet floor mat set original 1984-89 foam backing OEM.

This is the floor carpeting  from a 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SL convertible

The front passenger side underlayment mat has the original foam backing intact and is what you need if you want to avoid a wrinkled floor mat

Both rear floor mats have the foam backing.

There are various signs of wear like tears rips stains dirt as shown. 

This is damage to the foam as shown

The front floor mat you are buying has the custom foam fit and gives you a smooth surface for your mat.
